HR Committee Meeting

Description

This month's HR Committee meeting will be in-person at JE Dunn's office in Denver. SHRM/HRCI credit will be available for this meeting.

Meeting Presentation:

Workplace Investigations: Kristin and Alyssa will present real-life workplace scenarios that come up requiring internal investigations. They will provide recommendations on how to conduct those investigations, along with questions to ask and not ask. Further, they will discuss when it may be appropriate to involve a third party in the investigation.


About the Speakers:

Alyssa Andalman: Alyssa Levy Andalman is an attorney in Fisher Phillips’ Denver Office. She regularly counsels employers on all aspects of their employment relationships, including contracts, leave laws, independent contractor issues, accommodations, and covenants not to compete. Alyssa is best known for her experience with representing employers in workplace law disputes and advice on compliance with a wide range of federal and state employment laws and agency regulations.

Kristin White: Kristin is a partner in the firm's Denver office, co-chair of the firm's Workplace Safety Practice Group. Kristin counsels and defends clients in regulatory workplace safety matters, and often acts as crisis management counsel for employers across all industries. She advises employers with respect to their obligations concerning injured workers, including navigating paid sick leave, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and other employer leave obligations.
