It reviews the proper use of erosion and sediment control measures and good housekeeping practices in relation to Stormwater regulations. This three-hour course offers participants online resources for reference\, along with a review of the fundamental expectations of regulatory requirements. It also provides proven tools and methods to help achieve compliance with local\, state\, and federal stormwater regulations.This Qualified Stormwater Management Refresher class will provide a certification that will last for 5 years.The class will cover:- Requirements of the CDPS General Permit COR400000 - Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activity- Regulatory changes over the last two permit renewals of the Colorado Stormwater Discharge Permit that may affect your project and/or budget- Review of Stormwater-related permits- Latest products available and reusable control measures to reduce maintenance costs and increase compliance- Review inspections conducted by the state of Colorado- Processes to evaluate compliance challenges on construction sites to find solutions- USMS  - the Uniform Stormwater Management System - an example of a proven\, practical\, and effective standardized stormwater compliance approach to manage the field and documentation The Instructor:Rich Jackson\, Account Manager\, Environmental Compliance Manager\, SRMRich has 17 years of experience in the building industry: 12 of which were spent in various supervisory roles within the residential construction sector\, and the last 6 years focused exclusively on construction stormwater permit compliance\, with an emphasis on developing permit compliance programs.
