Join the Movement: Construction Industry Overdose Prevention Fundraiser  

Presented by AGC's Mental Health Working Group in Partnership with ASA Colorado, IECRM, NUCA Colorado and other Industry Association Partners 

This year, in recognition of National Overdose Awareness Month, we’re shifting our focus from suicide prevention to tackling another urgent crisis in our industry: overdose prevention. 

Construction continues to face disproportionate impacts from the opioid epidemic. That’s why we’re coming together across associations to raise funds, build awareness, and expand access to Naloxone (Narcan)—a life-saving overdose reversal medication—and deliver training that empowers workers to become recovery allies and worksite heroes. 

What’s the Goal? 

To raise funds that will help get Narcan into the hands of construction professionals—and provide meaningful training that creates confidence and advocacy, not fear. 

Proceeds from this event will help: 

• Cover the cost of opioid overdose response and recovery training for over 250 construction professionals 
• Equip trained individuals with free Narcan kits and the means and information to order more at this year's ASAC Health and Safety Summit on November 14th. 

Who Should Attend 

Anyone who cares about the health and safety of our workforce. Whether you're a field leader, HR professional, tradesperson, or someone who’s lost a loved one to addiction—your presence matters. 

What to Expect 

• A chance to unite across associations for a common cause: saving lives 
• A friendly cornhole competition 
• Delicious food, beverages and coffee! 
• On-site resources on overdose prevention, Narcan use, and recovery-friendly workplace. 
• A chance to sign up for future training opportunities and create the opportunity to distribute free Narcan
